Jerry SJeremy Stangroom is a British writer, editor and computer programmer.

He founded The Philosophers’ Magazine with Julian Baggini in 1997, which he has co-edited ever since (dealing with the New Media aspects).

He is the author/editor of numerous books, including the best selling Einstein’s Riddle (Bloomsbury) and (with James Garvey) The Story of Philosophy (Quercus, forthcoming).

He has a PhD in Political Sociology from the London School of Economics. And he’s an elected Fellow of the Committee for the Scientific Examination of Religion.

When he’s not writing, he spends his time messing around with computers, taking photographs, running and playing squash.
